spezticle
This isn't a 'spam you with my resume' post and i'm not trying to social network. I'm really pretty new to Logic Pro and any DAW, in general. I really like working with this, though, and it got me thinking about a career path change. I saw that I could take a class in LA for $1000. How far will that get me, if anywhere? Does anyone have experience working in the field with audio processing, production, and engineering? Generally, what are your thoughts on it? 3ple
What I can say is that, just like any other investment, it depends on you, your goals, what you want to do in the future. Learning a software doesn't guarantee anything. Working with music goes beyond just knowing a software. It's about being creative, knowing enough about music, production, etc. So depending on what you already know about music, it can take you to different places. It also depends on your target. If you want to make your own music, if you want to make music for other people, if you just want to mix, if you just want to master, etc. All of these things affect your investment.
