Kaatza Music
When I try to export audio to a movie, I keep getting the message “could not export audio from Logic X Pro.” I deleted and reinstalled the movie, with the same problem. David Nahmani
I've never seen this... ? Is this a normal install of MacOS and Logic? Do you have QuickTime installed on your machine?
Kaatza Music
Yes, I have QuickTime installed on my computer.
David Nahmani
Try creating a new user in your system preferences, switch to that new user and try to export some audio to a movie?

gsilbers
im having the same issue. latest version. mac pro 5,1. sierra. sometimes it bounces with a little of video then the movie freezes. someitmes its an error and nothing happens. sometimes there is audio but only the 1st frame of picture throughout the whole export. frustrating since it was so stable for the past 5 years. paulcristo
Can you post info about the codecs for video and sound used in the movie itself? You can find this info by opening the movie in QuickTime Player and then selecting Movie Info. My theory is problems with exporting audio to a QuickTime movie might stem from how the movie file was encoded. Perhaps certain codecs are incompatible with Logic’s export function.
