JoshJ
Not sure if this is a Logic question of a Fabfilter questions but; I only have the ProQ3 installed and someone has send me a project file full of ProQ2's (the previous version). Is there a way to get Logic to open the ProQ2 plugins with the ProQ3 instead? I think you can use ProQ2 presets in the Q3.
des99
No, as it's a different plugin with a different plugin ID as far as I know. You'd have to get the sender to send you the EQ presets used, and then load them in Q3, if they're compatible as you say...
Solution fisherking Posted June 16, 2020 Solution Share Posted June 16, 2020 if you have the newer FF plugins, you can go to your account on fabfilter & download (for free) version2 plugins, part of the legacy set. i did that for the same reason you need to do it, worked fine (did not replace the newer plugins, and i could open collabs project).
