hard to see the little white beat lines

It is really hard to see the little white beat lines to align beats. I have looked in the preferences, but I can't find any way to change the basic background color. Is there any way to change the background color or get more contrast or somehow be able to see those fainl lines better?

No unfortunately you can't change those. You can however use all sorts of techniques to line stuff up. Such as Snap modes?

Yes, I use the snap modes. It is just a thing of seeing where to snap to. I managed somehow by getting very close to the monitor.

You're welcome. Oh and you're not alone, a lot of users have requested to make the gridlines clearer so that one can see them better, and also to be able to be seen over audio waveforms by transparency. Not sure why they don't want us to be able to do that.

Ugh. Piano Roll. My most used window with the least readable grid lines. I grudgingly use the bright background, anything to get away from those faint gray gridlines against that slightly less faint gray background. Logic has slowly expunged most of the “What were they thinking?” inanities from our beloved program. So let’s hope this dark ash gray moonscape gets a reasonable reconsideration. Broaden the downbeats just a touch, dial up the color temperature and contrast just a bit for beats and divisions. Let them be seen more clearly — it won’t take much. Hmmm. I just discovered that, if I set the accessibility>display>Display contrast at minimum. the fine-grid lines are at their most visible.
