Trouble assigning Controller buttons to plugin button

Ok, I can seem to map any of my midi Controllers buttons to the iZotope Neutron plugins buttons (bypass buttons, etc). I've changed the "Value" mode in the Assignment window to "Rotate" and seems to be working fine for button selection on the FF ProQ3 plugin. But Neutron isnt mapping. Controlling these Neutron buttons with Smart Control buttons works fine also so not sure where the issues is. Does anyone have any idea? Taking AGES to get this controller setup. I've attached a couple images of my Assignment below;

Ive finally figured out what is happening but dont know why.. I hit my assigned Controller button and the Bypass button on the Neutron doesn't switch on, but hitting the Controller button is somehow enabling the Bypass button so that when I hover my mouse cursor over the Bypass button it switches on (without me left clicking it!). And again if I hit the X-Touch button then hover over the Bypass button it switched off. Strange.

Does anyone have a clue what might be going on here?
