JoshJ
Usually I can leave all my Sends deactivated until I turn one of them and it activates the Send. But using a midi controller they don’t seem to behave like that. The send is grayed out and when I turn my controller pot and the Send knob turns, it is still greyed out. Does anyone know why this might be?

JoshJ
Hey enossfield. Did you have any idea about this?
David Nahmani
Usually I can leave all my Sends deactivated until I turn one of them and it activates the Send. I've never seen this behavior in Logic. On the other hand you could leave all the sends on with the pot set to -infinite which would behave the same?
JoshJ
You mean you’ve never seen the send on/off button light up/turn on when you start turning a send knob?. I like to have all my sends switched off by default because I thought it saves on CPU. Do I have this correct?
David Nahmani
You mean you’ve never seen the send on/off button light up/turn on when you start turning a send knob? Yes. I like to have all my sends switched off by default because I thought it saves on CPU. Do I have this correct? No. Nowadays, the workflow should be to make your work as comfortable as possible (everything on by default) unless you're hitting CPU limits, then deal with it, rather than complicating your workflow in order to save CPU when that's not necessary. JoshJ
I have been having CPU spiking and Logic “System Overload” messages though unfortunately which is why I’ve been trying to keep the load down
