Dox
I am running LPX 10.4.8 on a mid 2011 iMac 21.5”, and am therefore stuck with High Sierra, this means I am unable to run the latest LPX 10.5.1. So I am getting a new iMac 27” 3.0 Ghz with 40Gb RAM and 512Gb SSD. What I want to know is whether I can install both LPX 10.4.8 and LPX 10.5.1 and run either on the same machine in case there are problems running old projects and files with the latest version. Dox
Thanks FuzzFilth, Can you explain how I do that? How do I get 10.4.8 on the new iMac and how do I update to 10.5.1 without overwriting 10.4.8?
Solution des99 Posted July 25, 2020 Solution Share Posted July 25, 2020 Make a copy of the app. Rename it to eg "Logic Pro 10.4.8". Then update the main Logic Pro app to the current version. Run whichever app you want.
Dox
Thanks Des, Do I only need to copy the actual Logic Pro X 10.4.8 App in the finder from the iMac 21.5” and paste it into Applications on the iMac 27”?
