tbhewitt
Can someone tell me the technique used to get this vocal effect from 0:23 to 0:36 in Supalonely?
tbhewitt
Turns out it's an autotune effect. You guys probably all knew that already. I've been very fortunate to be mostly "captive" to a singer who has near perfect pitch, so I've never played with pitch correction or autotune. This sound is also known as the "Cher" preset apparently, a sound she made famous in "Believe." By setting the Pitch Correction to a different key and using a very short activation on the pitch correction, I was able to blend in the sound that I was looking for. Just in case anyone cares.
