scantronics Posted September 18, 2020 Share Posted September 18, 2020 Hi Team! in Audio MIDI setup, why are the MIDI in/out Connectors (channels?) all set to '1' and the option to adjust them is greyed out? I have 3 external synths connected on different MIDI channels (via USB) but for example my Moog Minitaur will respond to a program change that I perform on my DeepMind12 even though they're on different MIDI channels - thanks for reading! des99 Posted September 18, 2020 Share Posted September 18, 2020 The "connectors" are *ports* not channels, and the "1" refers to the numbering of ports. Nothing to do with MIDI channels. Any handling of events and MIDI channels will happen in the actual software that's receiving/transmitting MIDI data over those MIDI ports.
