rsthomas
Hi All I recently bought a Mac Mini late 2012 with 16 GB RAM and 1 TB Fusion Drive. I dont use Logic Pro today but intend to buy it soon. Before I do this, I was thinking of adding an SSD to the machine. What are your thoughts on 1. Adding another SSD on top of the 1TB Fusion Drive vs. 2. Replacing the 1 TB Fusion Drive with 2 different SSDs ? If I go with option 1, I am thinking of using SSD as the primary and fusion drive as the secondary. Thoughts, recommendation would be highly appreciated. triplets
I would recommend against the Fusion Drive for audio purposes. Stick with SSDs.
des99
Replace the Fusion Drive with one or more SSD's would be my advice.
