Alphabet Beats
Hi all, I've downloaded a few .syx files from YouTube as well as imported my own patches from my Jupiter 80. Is there a plugin that I can open these in and use these patches inside Logic?
des99
Now, those patches are to configure your Jupiter 80 - they set specific parameters on the synth so that the synth can make sounds. No synth, no sounds. There is no Jupiter 80 plugin by Roland. You can of course use the Jupiter 80 "inside* Logic like you can any other MIDI synth or audio sound source. Ah thank you... do you think Roland will ever made a Jupiter 80 VST?
des99
Their current platform is ZenCore, which all their modern instruments are based on - and there is a plugin version of that, along with many plugin versions of earlier instruments such as the XV-5080, D50, Jupiter 8 etc in their RolandCloud service. No, you won't be able to use your sysex files with those, but ZenCore and the XV/JV plugins will do similar sounds.
