alingham
Hi all, I’m having real issues with my Alesis Multimix 8 USB set up with my MacMini. I’m running Logic Pro 10.5 and have had success with recording and playing back tracks and songs. But after I come back to it, wake up the computer, I get no sound at all. So after reading up on this it’s due to the Mac power settings on sleep disconnecting the audio etc... In the past when this has happened, I’ve simply restarted the Mac and opened up Logic Pro and usually everything is playing fine again. Today I’m having no luck whatsoever. Tried turning off the Mac Mini, turning off the Alesis. Replugging the Alesis into a different port... nothing. No sound output. It’s turning up in the system setting Audio/Midi window dialogue. When I click on Configure speakers, I get nothing out of it. But it shows up as working device and connected when I check the Alesis driver. Pretty much at a loss. It’d be nice to have a set up that JUST WORKS! So I can come back to it after some time off and everything just works as I’d left it without all this faffing about. Is there anything I can do to get things working!?
triplets
Does the Alesis require a driver to be recognized?
