Christopher11
Hey guys. I am creating a podcast, and want to release on Youtube as well with an oscilloscope like effect, to make it visually dynamic and a little more interesting. I'm not looking for an oscilloscope plugin for Logic or any audio program, but rather, something that will let me create cool visual effects for a video I will then post to Youtube and similar. I don't need it to be a traditional oscilloscope; in fact I would prefer something more trippy and colorful, with which I could experiment. Do you know of any such program? Thank you for any replies. Christopher11
Oh, apparently Adobe After Effects can do it. So I've answered my own question. ; ) Anyway, do feel free to mention if if you know of any others.
Akitru
Nice... I'd also be interested if something similar could be done in the Final Cut Pro ecosystem...

Akitru
FYI I'm liking an app 'Magic Music Visualizer' for creating music-triggered visuals. Things I like: - Music (audio) focused - Enough canned functions to quickly generate music-oriented effects - A lot of depth! Beyond the basics a lot of parameterization and dynamics to create some trippy effects - Simple purchase; no subscription (i.e., Not Adobe ) I'm using it to create music-synced video effects that I can bring into Final Cut Pro as overlays with LumaKey. https://magicmusicvisuals.com
Ploki
also i bought this over BF, it's an AU plugin that uses shaders. You can partially port shaders from Shadertoy page directly into plugin. https://echobit.myshopify.com
lookatthisguy
I just recently created one in Motion using a tutorial I found online for inspiration, though I wanted a linear frequency band (EQ) look to it. I did spend several years working intensely in Final Cut Pro and Motion as a videographer though, so it may not come as easily as it did for me.
