AMD
Hello all. I have the number of Undo Steps in my prefs set to 100. However, in the undo history there are about 300+ and counting. Any ideas why that is? Also, I don't think this is possible, but is there any way to undo a step without affecting the ones afterwards? Thanks. David Nahmani
Do you have Include Parameter Changes from Mixer or Plug-Ins selected? Undoing a single step in the undo history used to be possible but would trigger that odd warning. I suppose that's why it's no longer available. For example, let's say you (1) create a note, (2) resize it and (3) change its pitch, how do you undo only (1) but keep (2) and (3)? I suppose those cases made the functionality too unstable to keep it in Logic.

I'm not sure where I find that particular pref, but it does seem to be enabled, as everything is showing up in the undo list. I thought that when I limited the number of steps to 100, that it would put a cap on the number of entries on the list? Good points, thanks! David Nahmani
Mixer and plug-in steps add on to the regular undo steps.
