Resize Window Problem

I'm attempting to resize windows but. Logic is limiting my resize capabilities

I want to be able to resize the window smaller so only the one track lane is showing but Logic will not allow me to reduce/resize the window any smaller.

 

How can I resize smaller so I don't see all the empty space marked in yellow????

These windows have minimum sizes which you can't go smaller than.

In previous versions of Logic I was always able to resize the Arrange/Main window and cut out all thid dead/empty space.

LPX uses a completely different graphics framework to earlier Logic versions, and this is no longer possible.

 

In fact, the rot started to set in in LP8, when the consolidated window first appeared, and many of the window configs you could do in LP4.x-7.x were no longer possible.

 

It is, unfortunately, how it is.

I hate it that one can also no longer create floating windows except for the transport.
