Stoobysnax
Just getting my MacBook M1 16" (32GB ram, 4TB) up and running. And damn if loading logic sessions right now doesn't take FOREVER. It's a total deal breaker. I'm trying to be good about only using approved plugins. Not sure whats going on. Anyone else having this issue or sorted it out? Mania
It's lightning quick here on 2020 M1 MacBook Air. Must be a third party plugin...Example: 100 tracks mostly audio project, tons of plugins, loading in 2-3 seconds.

At this moment I am using a 2009 Macbook Pro with 4gb RAM, Logic opens quickly and works flawlessly!
ms1720
I'm having the same issue with older projects under Rosetta; admittedly these are finished songs with lots of plugins and processing. I'm guessing/hoping that things will improve once every plugin is native. As of now my 2018 Mac mini loaded those projects quicker than my M1 Macbook Pro (32 GB RAM, 1 TB). ms1720
Ok, yesterday I updated my Slate plugins. My projects now load much faster than before. I'm using the VCC on every track, so that seems to have slowed the loading down considerably 😀.
