Logic_4.8
Hello How is a L, (Left), C, (Centre), R, (Right), created in logic with Logic stock plugins? For example, I would like the LCR DELAY to function with these settings: Lch Delay 333.3ms Rch Delay 166.7ms Cch Delay 500.0ms FB delay 500.0ms FB Level +10 Would I have to create Three Busses/Auxiliary Channel Strips and apply the following, I.e.: Aux 1: Lch Delay 333.3ms, FB delay 500.0ms, FB Level +10 Aux 2: Rch Delay 333.3ms, FB delay 500.0ms, FB Level +10 Aux 3: Cch Delay 333.3ms, FB delay 500.0ms, FB Level +10 Or is there a plugin, that could do that for me? BTW, I do not wish to create a DELAY L, R. I wish To create a LCR DELAY. Or, is there an easier option? Don’t forget, I have Reverb and Chorus, before the Delay - and there are quite a lot of plugins involved - if you see what I mean? Ideally I would like it on One Aux STEREO), like this. See below: REVERB; CHORUS; DELAY LCR As you can see in this screenshot (FOR DELAY LCR) the Aux strips are MONO Thanks again
fuzzfilth
Use Delay Designer, where you can precisely dial in up to 26 delays, each with independent delay time, level, pan, filter, transpose.
Logic_4.8
I meant to put these figures in: Would I have to create Three Busses/Auxiliary Channel Strips and apply the following, I.e.: Aux 1: Lch Delay 333.3ms, FB delay 500.0ms, FB Level +10 Aux 2: Rch Delay 166.7msms, FB delay 500.0ms, FB Level +10 Aux 3: Cch Delay 500ms, FB delay 500.0ms, FB Level +10 thanks
Logic_4.8
Oh... I have an answer, I didn't see that... Thanks Is the way I proposed/shown too complicated... it sounds alright... However, there are a lot of plugins in the last example - so I will give delay designer a go
fisherking
anything that sounds good is ok. but you sure you want the reverb before the delay? you're taking a stereo space and moving it around according to the delay settings. just seems it would make more sense to move the sound around (with delay) within a stereo space. and chorusing adds stereo space as well. so, again, if it sounds ok, that's what matters most. but, perhaps, try the reverb last in this setup. just a suggestion! David Nahmani
15 hours ago, fisherking said: anything that sounds good is ok I couldn't agree more. Do what works for you. There's nothing wrong with using multiple plug-ins if that's easier for you or allows you more flexibility in the way you handle the effect. Nothing beats experimentation so try both methods and explore them both and you'll soon be able to tell which one works better for you.
