Luminous Muse
Following a video I went to preferences >general>editing and next to "Right Mouse Button" selected "is assignable to a tool." The third tool appears in the main window and piano roll but when I control click I get a menu instead of the tool. In the video that brought up the tool. I'm using a magic trackpad. In system preferences I can set the second click to click with two fingers, click in bottom right or bottom left, but though that brings up the velocity tool, it doesn't act as it's supposed to. For example, if I select several notes then bring up the velocity tool that way the selection is lost.

Luminous Muse
Sorry, it's not working. If I select notes then use two fingers on the pad I get the "V" for the tool, but the whole logic window gets smaller; if I use two fingers and click on a note with tool and drag nothing moves. It's working here, I'm not sure what we're doing different? Here are my settings: Here's how it's working: I select the notes (I use three-finger dragging which I've enabled in Accessibility). I press two fingers into the trackpad (just like for a click-hold but with two fingers), and keep the pressure while dragging up:
Luminous Muse
I enabled three finger dragging in accessibility. I select three notes. When I enable the V tool with two fingers the selection disappears. (See screenshot.) Thanks! Solution polanoid Posted June 20, 2022 Solution Share Posted June 20, 2022 You need to perform the two-finger click on a note, not somewhere in the empty area
