drakepeterdrake
I'm trying to make a stack using exs24 sounds for acoustic kik 1 and acoustic kik 3, as shown in the screen shot. In my Roland S760 samplers I could use a "sample mix table" based on velocity where at low levels the kik 1 would play, at high levels kik 3 would play, and at moderate levels there would combination of the two. I can sort of do that using the velocity limit function in the tracks, but in the middle velocities, both drums play and it's too loud. Before I drag both sets of samples into 1 exs24 instrument and then adjust the sample playback levels, I was hoping there was an easier way to accomplish this. Thank you. Solution David Nahmani Posted June 27, 2022 Solution Share Posted June 27, 2022 I can't think of a better way to achieve this than to import all the samples in the same EXS24/Sampler plug-in and set up groups switched by velocity.
drakepeterdrake
I essentially did that. I was trying to adjust the individual sample group volume levels so that there would be a smooth transition from one to the other. This takes 30 seconds in a 760, but is near-impossible in Logic. It eventually yielded the sound I was going for. Thanks. P
