des99 Posted July 31, 2022 Share Posted July 31, 2022 The sample locations are contained in the EXS instrument files. If the samples are not in the locations specified in the instruments, Logic searches Spotlight for their locations, and once found, updates the instrument with the new locations. There are some defined locations for instruments to make them show up in Logic (but I assume that isn't the problem here, as you specifically mention samples), but sample locations are much more fluid because of that behaviour.
