Chris7777
I've recorded several guitar, bass, and midi drum tracks in a project. I didn't change the song key initially and am now looking to do so in order for the midi drums to be tuned correctly. However, when I change the key of the project, the guitar and bass tracks sound all wonky. How do I change the song key without messing everything else up? I tried to SMPTE lock the tracks but that did not work.
triplets
I never personally use the key signature because of the chaos it creates. I just transpose everything manually.

So to change my midi drums from C maj to A maj I'd transpose it -3? Then just move the notes to the correct instrument again?

For example C1 is usually the kick and E1 is the snare. Do you have a kick that sounds when you hit an A1 on your keyboard? Afaik, the pitches are absolute on drum instruments, but you can change individual samples.
