Inquiring about duo core2 imac

Hello members!!! I would like to inquire whether logic pro 10.2 or 10.3 can work very well on a duo core 2 iMac, I have got some little money and I would like to start with a duo core 2, thanks

I would take the "very well" out of that sentence. It will work.

You have to go i5 for 10.2 or 10.3. What's your budget?

Oh thanks, I think I will just get a duo core for the start, bcoz my budget isn't that big, I'll upgrade later as long as 10.2 can work

Unless it's a really really really good deal you're getting (low cost and very good condition / features, esp memory and SSD!) I would not recommend such an old machine.

I'm not sure how you plan to buy an old version of Logic Pro X though. You won't be able to buy it from the Apple Store, which is the only place you *can* buy Logic, so if you're planning to buy an old Mac for Logic, and then buy Logic, you might need to think again on those plans.

I used to work with an 2007 core 2 duo imac, El Capitan and Logic 10.3

I produced techno tracks with several plugins like spire, pigment, mastering plugins and the CPU never goes closed to the max.

I still have that Imac and the original Logic 8 box with all manuals and CD's in the attic, Logic 10.3 was only available on the Apple store.

I could sell you all for cheap if we were closed to each other.

I know produced with a powerfull Imac I7 8 cores and my music is not better !
