Faegan
Hi everyone... hope you're all enjoying your Friday! I'm using logic pro today to edit a podcast. I'm cutting parts out of a region and then joining it all back together into one region when I'm done. It seems that at least some of the parts that I cut out are being added back in when I click join. Has anyone else noticed this and how do I keep it from happening? polanoid
AFAIK "Join per Tracks" circumvents this
Faegan
I've actually tried both and it seems to happen with both.
polanoid
OK. Not seeing this here, the two definitely behave differently. Another thing you could try (if it is possible in your case): Select the regions you want to join via Marquee Tool and marquee a bit of silence (empty space) to the right of the rightmost region. That way you force Logic to do a digital mixdown of the regions, to be able to add the extra silence at the end.
Faegan
I'm away from home at the moment but will try this... thank you!
