ni guang xin Posted October 18, 2022 Share Posted October 18, 2022 I love Apple's UI designs, especially the OS for apple watches, gorgeous, but I don't think they've put the same effort into designing Logic's UI (must be different teams, of course) it's better than a lot of the UI on other DAWs, but it's not "apple" level, especially the stock plugins's UI, yet somehow, GarageBand looks amazing, the details just look more polished, the iOS GarageBand UI looks even better, what you guys think? : ) Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
David Nahmani Posted October 18, 2022 Share Posted October 18, 2022 I agree. I believe they spend more time polishing the UI for those free iOS apps. On pro apps like Logic the focus is on functionality, speed and stability, and sometimes UI design is left behind a bit. Still they are making progress but it's much slower than in GarageBand. Another consideration is that there are many more settings/parameters/knobs/buttons/sliders in Logic than there are in GarageBand. But I do agree with you that it would be nice if they could overhaul the entire interface and give us something with a consistent UI from one pane to the next, with the type of quality we can see in GarageBand for iOS. 2 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
