Logicman2
I have a mid 2015 MacBook Pro with Monterey 12.6.3. I currently have Logic 10.7.6. Is there any benefit to update to 10.7.7? I know that my computer won't allow too many more updates cause of age.
Solution Jordi Torres Posted January 30, 2023 Solution Share Posted January 30, 2023 Hey Logicman2, Well the main documented benefit is that Flex Pitch bug fix that apparently only affects those running it on Ventura: Quote Fixes an issue with Flex Pitch analysis in Logic Pro on macOS Ventura. Besides that there may be other undocumented bug fixes but will likely require each user to find them on their own. In any case you can make a duplicate of version 10.7.6 (select the Logic Pro app in the Applications folder, then hit Command + D) and rename it "Logic Pro 10.7.6" then upgrade to 10.7.7. This way you'll have both versions side by side and you can compare and decide whether it's worth it to move on to 10.7.7 or not.
