apricotandpearjam Posted February 8, 2023 Share Posted February 8, 2023 hi. im working on a project which keeps crashing and when it re-opens it doesn't ask me if i want to choose the auto-saved version. its as if auto-save isnt working on this project. any ideas why this might be happening? Jordi Torres Posted February 9, 2023 Share Posted February 9, 2023 Hi apricotandpearjam, For the autosave data to be generated some change needs to take place in the project (playing back the project does not seem to count as a change). The autosave data will take around 16-17 seconds to be generated after that change. If you would like to see this live, you can Ctrl-click your project file in the Finder and choose show Package Contents, then go to Alternatives > the current project alternative ("000" if you have not manually created any project alternatives) > Autosave. apricotandpearjam Posted February 9, 2023 Author Share Posted February 9, 2023 @Jordi Torres@fusbur thanks guys. for this project it seems whatever changes i make it doesn't autosave when it crashes. the auto save data doesn't get saved in the project package contents. it seems there is a bug which is preventing auto save from working. any ideas? polanoid Posted February 9, 2023 Share Posted February 9, 2023 Can you post crashlogs (so others can check where it crashes, if that is possible), and/or the project this happens in?
