Munckfruit
Hey all, second post... I've noticed some instruments have a feature where if the notes line up/overlap on the roll it will pitch bend/tune to the next note automatically. Is there a feature for applying this to any instrument? I'm not sure what it would be called. I know you can do it manually, but its a bit tedious. I received suggestions in another thread to use portamento or legato, but I'm not sure how to implement those? Any help appreciated!
Solution David Nahmani Posted February 22 Solution Share Posted February 22 On 2/22/2023 at 7:41 AM, Munckfruit said: Is there a feature for applying this to any instrument? Not to any instrument, no. You have to use an instrument that supports that feature. You have to look for parameters named Glide, and/or Legato. For example in the ES2 you have to click the Legato mode, then adjust the Glide time: In Retro Synth you have to go to the Settings, set the Polyphony to Legato, then turn on Glide and adjust the Glide time: In Alchemy you have to set the Mode to Legato and adjust the Glide time: In Sampler you have to click the Details button in the Synth pane, set the mode to Legato and adjust the Glide time:

David Nahmani
You're welcome! Happy to hear you find it helpful. Don't hesitate if you have follow-up questions, for example on another specific synth where you're not finding the settings.
