David A. Griffiths
I'm running Logic Pro 10.7.7 on a MacBook Pro M1 2020. The step editor isn't always scrolling correctly during playback (when set to 'catch playhead' mode). If the midi region starts at bar one then the step editor scrolling works correctly. However if the midi region start point is moved to (say) bar 10, then the step editor will scroll 10 bars ahead of where it should be. The error varies depending on start point of the midi region. So if the start point is at (say) bar 3, the step editor scrolls only 3 bars ahead. This makes it fiddly to edit anything in the step editor, e.g. sustain pedals etc. It only started happening after the most recent Logic update, it was fine before. It's a bit of a tricky bug to explain so I made a video here in case it helps:

Not the most recent update, I can reproduce this in versions starting from 10.7.5. Did you report it to Apple already? Clearly a bug, so should be moved to the Bugs & Workarounds section. @David Nahmani? Edited February 24, 2023 by polanoid
des99
It was posted there originally, I moved it to the general Logic Pro forum until someone could confirm it was a reproducible bug. And you have, I've moved it back there. 👍 1
