formika.treehouse
as the title says. When trying to change a lane of the step sequencer to automation, the highest CC available is #126, not #127. Is this a bug?
David Nahmani
MIDI CC#127 is used to remotely switch a device to Poly mode. Not exactly something you'd normally want to step sequence? Then again CC#126 is Mono mode and you wouldn't step sequence that either... 🤨
enossified
I think he's just asking why the automation range he's selected is shown as 64-127, but 127 isn't there. His track name suggests it's controlling lights.
gacki
Looks like a bug to me. For a number (?) of other parameters (for example Bank Select in the Track parameters) the range also goes up only to 126 because those parameters have an additional "not selected" value. That makes no sense here though.
formika.treehouse
Hmm. I'll it as a bug I suppose. On 3/3/2023 at 1:02 AM, enossified said: His track name suggests it's controlling lights. And yes, I am using Midi CC to control lights in QLC+, so the GM CC function are meaningless in this case.
David Nahmani
Understood. Well it's a bug in Logic. I'm moving this to the Bugs section. Thanks for pointing it out! 🙂
