Pasting Inserts Only with Key Command in the Mixer Broken in 10.7.7

There used to be a workaround where you could use the key commands to copy channel settings (cmd-opt-c) and paste plug ins only (cmd-opt-p, custom command) to multiple channels... but that is no longer working with 10.7.6.  Anyone else have this issue or a work around as I used that often.  Also, using a custom channel strip is not effective as there are too many variations in the channel strips and much more efficient to copy/paste).  Thoughts?

At some point between 2020 and now pasting plugins broke in the mixer. I'm currently using 10.7.7

1. Open a new project

2. Add more than two audio files.

3. Add an insert to the first audio file.

4. Open the mixer.

5. Use "Copy Channel Strip Setting" on the first audio track

6. Left click and hold shift to select every audio track except the first one with the insert.

7. Use the "Paste Channel Strip Settings Plug-ins Only" key command.

Expected result: The insert should appear on all the tracks

Actual result: The insert only appears on one track.
