ThenCameNow
There is one AUX track that will not mute when any other track (all types) or aux is soloed. Is this a bug ?
JakobP
Open your mixer in "All" view and make sure there's no aux or audio channel strips in "solo safe" mode with "MXBUS" set as input. There is a bug with Selection Based Processing and bus #1, not sure this applies to you... If you have SBP channel strips in your mixer, simply set them to "No Input" to workaround that bug...
ThenCameNow
Thanks. It's not in Solo Safe mode, nor are any tracks in the bus chain. The thing that confuses me is this a template I've used for a long time. I just delivered 12 tracks for mastering and one file had this behavior. I've gone through all the bussing and can't find out why this is the only one with the problem. So I chalk it up to ... WTF. I'll just be aware of this from now on. ThenCameNow
Bus chain meaning tracks sending to auxes sending to more auxes before final output.
David Nahmani
Can you share the template file?
ThenCameNow
Update : There are two SBP tracks hidden the hundreds tracks for this project. Neither had inputs but they were in solo safe and sending directly to Stereo Out. I clicked off solo safe and also set output to no output but still that particular AUX track will not mute along with the others that happily mute when another track is soloed. The template file is fine, doesn't have this problem.
ThenCameNow
RCM TEMPLATE.zip Here's the file in question. Eurorack 20221006-01v7 The Great Attractor.zip
ThenCameNow
I also simply deleted the two SBP tracks and still no change in that one AUX track.
JakobP
I removed solo safe from the VCA fader "ES-3" and instrument "ES-3 1/2 sync" which seems to resolve it here... Edited March 23, 2023 by JakobP
ThenCameNow
That made no difference here. Just to make sure we're talking about the correct track that won't mute, it is AUX 85 labelled 005 STEM THRU. You will have to unhide the track to see it in MIXER>TRACKS view. JakobP
Strange. I tried the eurorack file, I was sure I fixed it the way I said, but now when I try again it won't work. Can't see the problem in your template though ?
