Woodland Hills Posted March 28, 2023 Share Posted March 28, 2023 I'm using an Avid HDX card and the resulting latency is 16.0ms Roundtrip. My brother is using an Avid Carbon unit and his resulting latency is 8.5ms Roundtrip. Logic is set to 128 buffer size on both systems. Any thoughts as to why the Carbon has less latency than the HDX? sherwin Posted July 30, 2023 Share Posted July 30, 2023 I am kicking myself for buying into the AVID Garbage. I spent tons of $$$ on AVID equipment . It's cheaply made and super expensive.
