nbbarker
This problem appeared suddenly.....I can drag the region to lengthen it, but as soon as I let go, it snaps back! I have obviously toggled something by mistake, but cannot find a way to change it. Problem confined to just one project. Thanks.
fisherking
what is the source? you haven't given us much info. anyway, try bouncing-in-place, and you can edit the bounced region...
nbbarker
Thanks for the swift response.....I not sure what you mean by the source: my project has several tracks and I cannot lengthen any of the regions on these tracks by dragging the resize pointer - it will drag, but then snaps back. How do I bounce in place? I don't see this command anywhere...
nbbarker
Ok, have bounced a drum and a bass region in place. Now the resize tracker won't even drag these bip regions....
scg
I feel like I've seen this behavior before, but I don't remember the circumstances. What kind of regions are they? (Not the bounces, but the original regions.)
nbbarker
It is a project-wide thing - it affects every region in every track, whether instrument or plug-in etc. Its as if I had accidentally toggled something. I have now copied the whole thing into a new project and all is good....but I am intrigued to know why that happened.
