Record button disappears when I enable auto punch

Searched for answers, but I didn't find a thread here or on the internet about this. As the subject suggests, whenever I enable autopunch, the record button disappears making autopunch impossible. It happens on old projects and new ones.

- Do the keyboard shortcuts for recording work? ('R' and '*' should both start recording by default.)

- Can you post a screenshot of your control bar before and after enabling autopunch?

Got it. The record button is just being hidden due to horizontal space constraints when you switch to autopunch. The control is still there, available via the >> button on the right. The keyboard shortcuts should cover it, but if you want the record button to remain visible for whatever reason, you can configure the control bar in a way that makes more room available.
