logic pro 10.7.8 pickup clock is not moving automation with regions

Hi guys,

I hope this is just some bug... but suddenly after update, when I move regions with command "move to playhead", the automation included in those regions is not moved along with them. When I move those regions manually, it works. Is this intended new behavior? Or is it just a bug? I used this command a lot, everything worked fine before.

A new bug in 10.7.8 indeed. Still works in 10.7.7

Works as expected here. I tried Volume and Pan on audio regions and I tried Expression on MIDI regions.

Now I tried to start fresh new project, it is still the same. 

I have no idea what is going actually on...

Ok I understand now. By "automation included in those regions" I thought we meant region automation - not track automation.

Always good to have a video. BTW I wonder how it would look if region automation would not move with the region (and therefore stay where it is) 😉

Where should I report this bug? It should be repaired. I need it. I am scoring two tv series at now, and the last thing I need is to mess up my aitomation...

or would you recommend to get back to 10.7.7? I have the backup of it.

If you need the feature to work correctly, reverting back to 10.7.7 for the time being would be the best I guess.

Thanx for advice. 

One more question: How should I do downgrade to previous version of Logic? Should I just delete 10.7.8 from app folder and copy 10.7.7 into this folder?

You can simply start 10.7.7 from where you copied it to
