I'm trying to achieve that because I use Mainstage for more Live flexibility but I would like to be able to modify some chords or mistakes on post production via midi, as Logic runs and records at the same time, any ideas ? Jordi Torres Posted June 3, 2023 Share Posted June 3, 2023 Hi Dany, To get MIDI to reach MainStage from Logic, you need to create an External MIDI track (or a Software Instrument track with the External Instrument plugin) and set the output port either to an IAC bus or the new "Logic Pro Virtual Out" virtual MIDI output port that's available in Logic 10.7.8. If you use IAC (and based on your signature you may need to do that if you're still on 10.7.5), just remember to disable it as as input in Logic's MIDI > Inputs preferences to avoid creating a MIDI feedback loop.
