PJRasmussenJazz Posted June 10, 2023 Share Posted June 10, 2023 Howdy all! I have an odd situation regarding SMPTE lock and sync with a video. I bounced a rough mix of audio for a film, locking it all in its SMPTE position for the video editor. When I received back the video file, I extracted that mix to have it as a reference. My non-bounced audio it started perfectly in sync, but as the video played it eventually got more and more out of sync. It's very mild, but clearly noticeable by the end. I checked the frame rate with the film editor and it's matched. Any help is much appreciated! I'm of course able to fix it by dragging sections back to match the original timing, but I'm concerned it will happen again in the final mix. Thank you!
