I saw brief mention of this in the release thread for 10.7.8 - does the announced function "Software Instrument tracks now offer an Input Monitoring button to allow instruments to be played independently of track selection" work? If so, might someone explain how to access that button on virtual instrument tracks? For me that would be a GREAT time saver.
