Jumping to a marker in sync with tempo

I planning to use logic for live backing on stage. Is there any way to go to a marker with shortcut within tempo like ableton live?

With numpad cursor jumps to the marker immediately, I want it to wait until end of the bar and then go to pressed marker.

I kinda achieve this with live loops but I wan't to process some real time audio and pre recorded automation so I need the tracks timeline.

Very interesting topic about an area of Logic I dont know much about.

Are you saying that you can put a 'meta event' in  that would make Logic jump around IN TIME ie without glitches etc between different parts of a song.

This would be awesome for following a Score which had sign, coda, repeat etc - in very early versions of Logic there was something called 'Repeater Pro' - perhaps Logic can now do this?

Meta events seems interesting but I don't get it how it's gonna help me on the stage.

I want to give a command any time in bar 1 and I need it to execute that command in end of bar 1 in order to sync the tempo live on stage.

For example I we want to play chorus a little longer I'll hit "return to bar 20" while we're playing the bar 28. And cursor jumps the bar 20 in the end of bar 28 without hiccups. But it doesn't need to happen every single performance so If I leave the track it should play regularly.

Even if it's kinda possible to do it with meta events it seems kinda convoluted. I guess I just use live loops or migrate tracks to live.

Maybe you have to setup your pieces in Live Loops, which can be set to jump to the next pattern / Scene at the end of the bar.

The other option is to actually set the cycle, have it repeat and then disable the cycle ahead of time... a bit risky, as you're doing it with the trackpad / mouse which is never that great when performing live...
