Yamaha CP4 and MODX8 when connected to MainStage, pressing the "A" key causes all notes to cut off

Has anyone encountered this: 

- When Yamaha CP4 or MODX8 is used as a midi controller for MainStage, pressing the "A" key below middle C makes all notes cut off and makes fader 1 of Omnisphere to go to maximum volume. 

- This problem is not present when using Yamaha P115 as midi controller.  

- I've installed all drivers available on Yamaha's website.
