How to turn off external midi pop up menu?

Hi there, sometimes when I'm using Logic Remote for Live Looping away from my workstation - I'll randomly get these pop ups. They partially take me out of Logic control and I'm no longer able to control it remotely without getting up / walking over and clicking (wit mouse) back on the main Logic interface.

Is there a way to stop these from popping up? Would be a great time saver

thanks!

That's a plug-in window (Utility > I/O Plug-in) ... I suppose you have that plug-in inserted in your project somewhere?

Or maybe somehow you're creating a new instrument track and that plug-in is the default instrument plug-in on new instrument tracks? If that's the case then follow this procedure:

  1. In Logic Pro, click the + symbol at the top of your track headers.
  2. Select Ioftware instrument.
  3. Make sure the Instrument pop-up menu is set to "Empty Channel Strip".
  4. Click Create.
  5. Delete that new track.

Then follow this procedure:

  1. In Logic Pro, click the + symbol at the top of your track headers.
  2. Select External MIDI.
  3. Make sure the checkbox "Use External Instrument plug-in" is not selected.
  4. Click Create.
  5. Delete that new track.
