Signal One Posted June 22, 2023 Share Posted June 22, 2023 I have a concert which has Set 1 being some lofi backing music. I then have my live gig sons starting at Set 2. I control the set playback using a footpedal which works really well moving up and down and allowing me to start the sets by pressing play. The question I have is this. Can I have an AppleScript written which when triggered by a note on the footpedal does the following: 1) Remember where it currently is, 2) move to Set 1 and play this track until I press the same trigger again. Upon pressing the pedal again, I want to go back to the previously remembered position and carry on the songs. I basically want a backing track to talk over in between the main songs in the gig. I suppose I could just duplicate set with the backing track too in between the main songs. Just don’t want to bloat the file size. Thoughts?
