tommyq94
I am trying to pan my guitars hard right and hard left using Stereo Balance. When I ctrl + click on the pan button it doesn't give me the option to do it for some reason? It is letting me do it on my Bass guitar. The only difference I can think of is that the Bass isn't going through an amp plugin, like the guitar is? Would really appreciate any help. David Nahmani
That's a mono track with mono plug-ins, so there's no stereo signal to balance. I suppose that your bass guitar is either a stereo track or has stereo plug-ins, which is why you're getting the option of a stereo balancer. If you're working with mono guitars, use the Pan knob to pan them left and right.
tommyq94
Hey, thanks for the quick reply, as usual! Ive tried turning the stereo button on, but now it says “Input 3-4” rather than just “4” where the guitar is plugged in. This means that I can turn on Stereo Balance but it is not fully balanced and it is louder in one ear for some reason? All im looking to do is to have my guitars going fully left and fully right. Is there an easier way to do this that im missing? Thanks
