chrisodd
Thinking about buying Logic Pro for iPad. I want to set up all my patches/sets on my Mac, them migrate them to the iPad for performance. I'm assuming this is possible... is it? Any limitations I should be aware of? Thanks
David Nahmani
Logic Pro does not have "sets". An easy way to move your patchs is to load your patches on different tracks in a Logic Pro project, and open that Logic Pro project on your iPad, then save the patches on your iPad.
chrisodd
Actually I was talking about MainStage... and was assuming that Mainstage was included w/ LogicPro for iPad (as it is for Mac), but I think this was a bad assumption. I don't think there is an iPad version of Mainstage.
Maddcow
Nope, definitely no MainStage for iPad. And MainStage hasn’t been included with Logic for many years. Edited August 30, 2023 by Maddcow
analogika
Logic and MainStage were bundled in „Logic Studio“ — which was available until 2011. They have been separate purchases ever since.
