Gargamel
Hello, Is there a meter displaying the loading of samples into the project? I've read something about a "blue line" but I can't find it. The "HD" meter is always showing completed although the samples are not fully loaded yet. (I'm on Logic 10.4.4) Thanks- Wilhelm
rAC
AFAIK the “blue line” which would show at the bottom of your screenshot is only for downloading content.
Gargamel
Thanks. So no way to monitor load process of samples then I guess? Maybe only relevant to me because of stone age computer lol!
David Nahmani
Don't you get a progress window? What happens when you open, Logic just hangs? I just tried loading a project that uses over 3GB of samples, and it loads instantaneously here. 😁
Gargamel
It doesn't hang, but sometimes it takes long for instruments to load into a project. Some are slower than others, e.g, Apple drums or strings. - Wilhelm
David Nahmani
Are the samples on a HDD or SSD?
Gargamel
It's an HDD.
David Nahmani
Maybe worth investing in a small inexpensive 500 GB SDD to put them on, you would really cut down on your loading time!
