StutzVanH
Hi, I'm writing in LPX and it seems the freeze icon is showing in some tracks but not others. I'm using instrument tracks each with their own instance of Kontakt. Some tracks have the freeze icon and others do not. Any ideas why this might be / how can I fix this?? (also happens with Spitfire plugins - Originals, LABS, BBCSO, ARO) some tracks show the icon, some do not. Logic Pro Ver 10.7.9 Mac Studio M1 Max Thanks
des99
You can't freeze multi-output instances, or auxes, or output tracks etc.

Do you have multiple multitimbral tracks all playing the one Kontakt track on different MIDI channels? (which are not technically Kontakt tracks). StutzVanH
Embarrassingly it seems I was using some multi-output instruments and that's the reason why. Luckily they can seamlessly be switched to stereo without having to rebuilt my entire template Edited September 13, 2023 by StutzVanH
des99
Hopefully this will be improved in the future - there's presumably some technical/architectural reasons why it's not currently possible, but maybe they'll get around to adding this at some point.
