wing
I can't figure out why this one track (outlined in green) doesn't have an available freeze button. Other tracks above and below it do (freeze is selected under 'track header components')– also I'm aware my screengrab happens to be a software track with audio tracks immediately adjacent, but in fact elsewhere I have similar software instrument tracks where the freeze button is available. Anyway this is just a plain instance of Battery, and no effects, nothing really special under the hood, no sends or anything. Am I missing something? ozinga
Looks like this is a multi out instance of Battery.
David Nahmani
Yup it's an Aux track so it doesn't have a Freeze button. Aux tracks weren't originally designed to have regions on them (even though now they can). If you create a track for the software instrument (that routes audio to that Aux), then you should be able to freeze that.
