Moving Multiple Notes in Flex Pitch Always De-Selects Second Note

Issue: Moving multiple notes in flex pitch always de-selects the second note

1. open a new empty project

2. import audio (preferably from a vocal)

3. set the track to Flex Pitch, "Keep Unvoiced" formants, and open the Track view

4. Select multiple notes with the Pointer tool and a Lasso via left click and drag

5. drag them to the left or right

expected result:

notes move and remain selected

actual result:

notes move, but the second note always becomes de-selected

I can't reproduce that right now. On the other hand if I select a group of notes and move them once, then I can't move them again. They become locked in place.

I have to confess, I pretty much never move notes in Flex Pitch mode.

That was how I originally noticed the issue. I assumed that was due to the second note getting de-selected.

I’ll make a separate report for the “selecting every region” issue, it may be tied to my visibility settings.

I decided to try using Flex Pitch the same “way” I use Melodyne on this project to see how it stacks up and I’m not very impressed. From the little usability bugs I’m finding (I have three more notes to turn into reports), and the fact that there’s a noticeable loss of high frequencies with identical edits vs Melodyne, I just don’t get the feeling people use it enough for it to get improved via feedback.
