Logic Does Not Compensate Latency for Dual Mono Instances When Session Loaded

Logic does not compensate latency for dual mono plugins until certain operations have been performed. So loading a session and immediately playing or rendering can result in erroneous playback.

From troubleshooting with an incredibly helpful Technical Support Manager at Slate Digital:

“Our investigation has revealed that Logic does not account for latency in dual mono instances when loading a session. We have also observed this issue with similar plugins and have initiated a support ticket with Apple. We'll be collaborating with Apple and providing them with all the necessary information to facilitate a resolution.

In the interim, we have a workaround that should help you manage the latency issue more effectively. After loading your session, running a render will rectify the problem. Specifically, if you use "Bounce in place" followed by an "Undo bounce," the latency will be correctly compensated, and you won't need to open all the views before continuing your work on the session.”
