Reed Posted October 16, 2023 Share Posted October 16, 2023 (edited) I want to play my electric guitar into my Boss GT-1000, then patch the 'Mono Out' ¼" of the GT-1000 to a Focusrite 8i6 or MOTU Ultralite 'Input ¼'. I play live with Logic and the Focusrite and record at home with the MOTU. I'm concerned about the Focusrite or MOTU being damaged by the GT-1000 incoming signal. Thanks for the help. There's no need for concern, you won't damage anything. Just make sure the signal you're recording does not clip: while recording in Logic, its level should always remain below 0 dBFS.
